The door

This artwork emerged after the tragic loss of my brother in 2017, and my grappling with the end of life. It centers around how the grave is both an exit from this life and an entrance into what is next. The final execution of this work is in a dosey-doe book format. It allows the reader, based on the entry point into the book, to read a visual parable that tells the story of things going to pieces or things being made new.
